Eligibility criteria to join +2 in Science at GSS. Students seeking admission at GSS are required to submit an education profile: SEE or equivalent degree with a minimum GPA of 2.8 above in aggregate.

The eligible students must register either physically or online to appear for the GSS Merit Scholarship and Entrance Examination. They must visit the college to receive the admit cards after the publication of the SEE results, before the test.

Aspirants must appear for the test physically. The test comprises objective questions from Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Mathematics, English, and Mental Agility Test (MAT). Questions are from Grade 9 and 10 courses.
Conducted on the 5th day after SEE results.
To develop and strengthen a student's intelligence (a combination of several abilities), GSS has introduced an intelligence test (a psychometric test) that comprises self-rated questions. Students must participate in this test to assess their multiple intelligences, allowing the school to tailor their education to their areas of interest.

Aspirants must score 40% to qualify. Scores 40%-75% qualify for direct admission (Merit-Based). Scores 75%+ qualify for Top-25 Merit Scholarship interview testing creativity and critical thinking.

The final results for the top 25 successful students selected to study science at GSS under the full scholarship scheme will be determined based on the cumulative scores from the written exam, interview, and SEE GPA. Results are published by 8:00 PM on the interview day.
Notification via SMS & Phone Call
Students scoring between 40% and 75% in the scholarship exam qualify for direct admission under the GSS Merit-Based Scheme.
Admission is granted on a First-Come, First-Served basis due to limited seat capacity.
An alternative list will also be published. If students are unable to enroll within the specified date and time, the remaining seats will be offered to candidates on the alternative list, who will be notified via SMS and phone call. Those on the alternative list will have the opportunity to secure admission within the given date and time.
